Agumon always follows Tai. What Tai says Agumon does, even if he doesn't agree, because he want's to please him (when Tai wanted him to digivolve to ultimate level and practicaly tortured him to eat and be fit he just did it.) Tai often recognises his mistake when he had already done it. So he apologises to Agumon and they are best friends again.
