There is no doubt in Davis's feelings for Kari. Through the all second season we don't even need to find proofs of his love. But we must look for Kari's feelings for Davis. We Daikari fans are only pleased in a very few moments. They are even not worth mentioning. In the beginning Kari even if T.K. isn't there doesn't show anything for Davis. But when T.K. does come, we could say Kari has eyes only for him. Not that she would love him or something (we don't know that), she just spends her time with T.K. all the time. This is just because they have known eachother already from season 1. After Kari finally gets a DNA digivolution with Yolei she opens herself to all the others digidestined.
Kari never said she wouldn't like Davis's love proving. She and T.K. often makes jokes of Davis, which isn't really fair. I think they shouldn't be so evil. Poor Davis never succeded his plans to gain Kari's heart.
25 years later we don't know what happened among this love triangle. Kari's child isn't similar to anybody. If we see this thing biologically there is just small chance T.K. and Kari could be together - T.K.'s child is blonde and Kari's has brown hair. T.K.'s child should have had then brown not blonde hair. There is maybe a bigger chance between Davis and Kari, their children have both dark hair.
What bothers me is also a detail that both - Davis and T.K. - came to their meeting in the digiworld alone with their children and not with Kari (if she was their wife). There is a chance Kari had just visited one of the digidestined and they came there together. (but who could it be? Tai came there alone and he was late (Kari was already there), Matt and Sora probably came there together and so did Ken and Yolei. Who stays is only Mimi and other men. So did she come with Mimi, who she rarely met, or did she come with other man?).
Maybe Kari is married to Joe, Izzy or even Cody (yuck!)! But she never had a great relationship with any of them. So she is probably married to someone unknown (or to T.K. or Davis). It's a very small chance Davis could be married to another girl of digidestined group. Only Mimi stays officially available but I doubt it very very much. Davis is probably with someone unknown or with Kari.
Again, my reasons why Kari and Davis were maybe never together.
- T.K. was always a barrier for Daikari. It's hard to say that Kari or T.K. never felt a thing for eachother. Is it possible that so good friends never feel anything but friendship? Of course it is (Taiora is a proof). So it's possible that T.K. was actually beaten by Davis. Davis did try hard to get Kari and who knows maybe he succeded in the end.
But in episode 41 Tai and T.K. kissed that french girl. Does this mean that T.K. was rejected by Kari or does it mean that he could never be faithful?
- Ken is like Kari in first season. He came and everything changes. Davis doesn't try so hard anymore for Kari. He spends more time with his new friend. There are just few moments where Davis cares for Kari. When Ken is kidnapped Davis wants to save him and he is not worried about his loving Kari when she decides to fight Ladydevimon by herself (and Yolei).
So did this friendship between Ken and Davis lead to the point where Davis didn't even like Kari anymore? A poster was published with strong Takari (and Sorato) evidence. Kari and T.K. are holding hands and Davis is just smiling with Ken and Tai.
