I will describe the movies after Japanese version and not after American (American version put the first three movies in one).

| Movie 1 |
All digidestined are still small children. Tai meets Koromon for the first time. In this movie we can see Tai and Kari how they are getting to know digimon. We almost don't see all the other digidestined. This movie is really short (~20 min).

| Movie 2 |
Movie 2 is for me the best digimon movie. In this second movie digidestined are a bit older (same age as in season 1). It shows up, that digimon that is appearing in every network is evil and the fight against it begins. The fight is beeing watched all over world including by Tai, Izzy and Ishida brothers. After a long time they finally see their digimon again. Other digidestined don't have any importent role in the movie. A new digitation between Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon happens and this new digimon (Omegamon) defeats Diablomon in the end. Tai is through the whole movie just sitting on the floor with Izzy in front of father's computer or trying to use telephone to call their friends for help. In one moment, when Wargreymon is almost dead, he goes in the network and with him on one side, Wargreymon feels strong enough to fight again.

| Movie 3 |
In american version digidestined from the season 1 were mostly cut out. But in the original they are captured somewhere, where they constantly get younger and younger (Chocomon is searching for his partner he hasn't seen since he was still a small child. That's why he makes Tai and the others younger and younger). We can see Tai from the first season and even younger (they are really cute!).

| Movie 4 |
Evil digimon from the second movie returns and attacks the real world again. Metalgarurumon and Wargreymon evolve to Omegamon, but this time even with Tai's and Matt's help Diablomon is not defeated by them. They only defeat the first Diablomon in the network but are not powerful enough to win in the real world. So DNA digitation between Stingmon and Ex-veemon defeats the bad guy in the end.
