Strange things are happening in USA, while Yolei, Cody and Davis are on summer vacations in Japan. After Kari communicates with them, they travel in USA, where they don't have a drive. That is why they go to their meeting with Kari and T.K. with a lorry. On the lorry they meet Wallance and Terriermon. The story continues and Davis, V-mon, Wallace and Terriermon miss their next drive. Wallance and Davis get to know eachother better. Wallance also tells Davis his story. In the end they defeat Cherubimon together (after V-mon evolves to Magnamon and Terriermon to Rapidmon). We can see the young Davis with his funny theeth, too xD.

Million Kuramon come from network and Davis and Ken have a task to find, catch and send them all to Izzy. After all these Kuramon evolve to Diablomon even Omegamon can't stop them. When Davis and Ken finally arrive to the fight (again, they haven't got a drive and it was hard to get through all that people who were observing the fight, plus V-mon and Wormmon were accidentaly taken by all that Kuramon) and V-mon and Wormmon evolve to Imperialdramon and defeat the enemy. Of course, with help of Omegamon's powers and cellphones' lights making the ho-ri (holly) link/ring, which destroys the dying Diablomon ...
