When Juri first saw him, she wanted him to be her parter. But Leomon avoided her because Juri was too pushy. Then Leomon was attacked by an evil Deva and Juri stole Takato's D-power (she didn't have her own) and tried to help Leomon but it didn't work. She was really down when she found out Leomon wasn't her partner afterall. In the next episodes Leomon came back and was in danger again, Juri finally got her own D-power and they became partners. But then Leomon died. Belzeemon killed him, because he wanted to be more powerful and took Leomon's data. Leomon's last words were that this was his destiny and Juri didn't understand that in the was Leomon ment it, but in the end when she was kidnapped by D-reaper she finally understoods Leomon's words and stopped being all sad and depressed.
Before Leomon came Juri got along very well with Calumon too. And after Leomon's dead both of them were caught by the evil D-reaper and became very close friends. Juri got along with Impmon too (altough his higher level killed Leomon - she forgave him in the end). In Drama CD you Juri is recording her massage for Calumon and Impmon. She liked them both but none of them became her partner. Belzeemon also tried to save Juri from D-reaper and almost died saving her. He didn't save her though, because Juri was still very much depressed and when Belzeemon used one of Leomon's attacks, she couldn't let him save her.
