Merry Christmas and a Happy new year, Ryuki fans!! DR will soon be 3 years old and I'm going to update it properly next week even if I die doing it, this is a disaster I know - no updates since august! x.x See you next week in a longer message than this one. Nice holidays to you all!!

~ How old were you when you first discovered Digimon?
Sth I wrote into my diary on the 13th October 2001: Digimon is the best cartoon in the world! The prettiest digimon is PATAMON. (*a picture of TK's crest (of hope)*) ... xD .. The diary does say though that I'm only writing this things on the date I've mentioned but that they all happened earlier (by 'all' I also mean a note about a new classmate and a band we were starting that year with some friends).
Soo, it had to be 2001 or earlier. I'd say I was 11!

~ Favourite character
It was not easy to pick one, I never loved anyone on their own, they were always like a team, some you like better some you don't .. Especially when you're younger I guess. American version of Ryo was close second. =)

~ Which digivice do you like best?
The shape of 3-D digivice might be even better but somehow I like D-power a looot. As for the colour ... even though I always considered Terriermon for my favourite season 3 Digimon, I see myself with a blue D-power. I did have a green fake one though ...
Oh, D-power = D-arc .. not sure which version has which name for it.

~ Favourite digital monster
Well, Terriermon is maybe even too cute don't you think? He (yes, it's just weird to call them 'it') is so sweet and innocent, it's kinda annoying. But it's hard to pick a favourite Digimon! My favourite from the first two seasons would be Patamon (not sure why, he's just as annoying as Terriermon), then there's Terriermon from season 3 and Shutumon (Zephyrmon) from season 4 - that one is just sooo beautiful!
I do HATE Terriermon's digivolutions. They're too mechanic and he's like a robot or a machine. Renamon's are perfect, it's just that I feel like Renamon is too serious to be my fave. x) And I'd so much want to hold my Digimon in my hands (I could do that with Patamon too + his digivolutions aren't bad (Pegasusmon!! <3)) .. hmmm ....

~ Favourite crest
I also like the crests of light and knowledge because of their meaning and the crests of light (again), love and kindness for their shape. I'm planning to get a tattoo of the light (it's both pretty and it means a lot to me), it'll take a while but when I do it, I'll show it to you. x)

~ A couple you wish existed
I'm not even answering this one! xD
No, really, we should have had a closure to Ryo and Rika's relationship. Not like a marriage (agh, season 2, whyyy?!) but at least an evidence nobody could deny!

.. day 07 ..

~ A coupling you can't stand
... Sorato!! (Sora + Matt) .. That was THE BIGGEST SHOCK in season 2. Tai + Sora were so obvious that I couldn't believe what they'd done when I first saw that christmas episode. Ok, Sorato fans might have seen it, but I've never-ever seen a moment between them till that episode that could lead to them getting married (okay, fine, the episode in S1 when Sora was emo in a cave and Matt saved her - but Joe was there too!!!). Plus they were the only official couple besides Yolei and Ken in the end - what the hell? Really, you put Sora and Matt with no history together and you couldn't do that with T.K. and Kari, who actually had a pretty nice one?! (not a fan of them myself but nothing against them either) .. poor Tai ....
And the other one is anything Rika that's not Ryuki .. Rukato fans are annoying because they're strong (were, actually *sniff*) but there's Juri .. Henrika on the other hand isn't that strong but it is possible (there is no Jeri in Henry's life afterall). x)

~ Favourite couple
Day 8 continues day 6 I guess .. :D But here too I'll put Ryo+Rika, they are my favourite. It's the first couple I got really obsessed with and really hated any other Rika/Ryo ones. Even Ryo plus Ken's brother from the games. I'm better now, haha .. x) I wish Digimon was as popular as it was years ago and that I wasn't the only working Ryuki page on the web (that I am, right?) .. it'd be so awesome to debate about Digi couples with other fans .. A LOT of other fans!

~ Favourite season
Digimon Tamers! It was just amazing! It didn't start that promising (for the first time the main character seemed like a crybaby!) but when the Devas started to attack, the show just went from 'meh' to 'woow ..' and then Leomon died -> 'WOOOOOW?!' .. yes, I LOVE that episode. It was super sad but so awesome. What I like about Tamers is that the Digidestined help their Digimon by using the cards, that they spend a lot of time in Digiworld and our world, that it was really dramatic in the end, it was even deeper than the first two seasons, it was cruel, the music was amazing, Tamers could digivolve together WITH their partner (not like season 4 >.<) and many other things. I just love Tamers so so so much!
And I love the picture I posted here (even though I did not like the 5th movie). :D

.. day 10 ..

~ Who do you think wore the goggles best?
Taaaai! xD He had that blue band underneath the goggles and I always thought it looked cool (after I realised the band wasn't part of the goggles - took me quite a while!). Davis had the same ones but I like Tai's hair so much more (+ Davis's first goggles were just ugly, I was so happy when they got destroyed, hehehe); Takato may be the only one who really used them as goggles but I didn't like the shape and the colour .. the same goes for Takuya (at least the shape). As for Taiki ... I dunno yet.
This picture of Tai is kind of weird, isn't it? I don't know why I like it .. it must be the goggles .. *tadadam!*

.. day 11 ..

~ Favourite friendship
Ooops, this was supposed to be day 9 but I somehow missed it! So, my favourite friendship ... it's Davis and Veemon. It seems so true! They don't just like eachother, they argue a lot and they joke around but they're also worried and care for eachother. If I had a Digimon, I'd want a relationship like that. Not like Cody and Armadillomon - don't you think they're weird? Not Armadillomon, I think it's Cody's fault. xD
My second choice were Tai and Agumon (very similar reasons), Sora and Biyomon, and maybe Takato and Guilmon (if Guilmon wasn't acting like an annoying baby sometimes).

~ Least favourite digital monster
At first I was sure I was gonna pick Bokomon and Neemon (I find them sooo annoying! first one is a bully that looks like it didn't shave and the second one acts retarded.) but then I remembered that horrifying episode in Digimon frontier. The one with BURGERMON. I've always hated Digimon with obvious names and this one is just too much. Not only do they look like a hamburger, they also make them and their attacks are hamburger-ish!! I read that on Digi wiki, while searching for this Digimon's name - I was suuuure it was called HAMburgermon -, the attack has sth to do with onions. I can't even describe how annoyed I get when I hear/see these Digimon. To make their existance even worse, they made a whole family of them! A really corny family.

~ Least favourite character
It's actually every younger Digidestined but none of them is as antipathic (this is not in the dictionary but I believe you know what I mean) as CODY. o.o I feel bad for Armadillomon, who's such a lovely and energetic Digimon, to have Cody for his partner. Cody looks like someone who's almost never in a good mood, even his original picture makes that impression (why isn't he smiling?!). He's like Matt in season one just not a lone wolf everybody likes but an annoying kid that looks embittered. I don't know, that's how I see him. x.x He's so serious all the time! And what's up with his hair?!

~ Least favourite season
I must confess that I still didn't watch the last two seasons! I tried watching no. 5 but I just didn't feel like watching Digimon. x.x Now I'm waiting for the 6th season to be dubbed in some other language, I'm not sure if I can watch Taiki with Conan's voice. But from the seasons I have watched, my least favourite is Frontier! First of all there's this eternal problem of not having a Digimon but becoming one themselves. I didn't like it. At all. I liked some ideas of the season (like the human and the beast evolution or the collecting of the pieces of the DW etc.) but I never got as excited while watching it as I was with the first three. There are some really aweeesooome episodes in Frontier but the whole season didn't impress me much. And it's the only one (from the first four), I've only watched ONCE (except for the awesome episodes ofc :D). I must not forget to mention one more amazing thing about Frontier (about all the seasons actually) - the music is just epic. EPIC!
