What's a Fanlisting?

A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject (Ryo in this case), such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. (by TFL)

Ryo is a character designed by WonderSwan Digimon games - he is the main character in four Digimon Games (Anode/Cathode Tamer, Tag Tamers, D-1 Tamers and Brave Tamer). Since he became very popular in Japan, the producers of Digimon Tamers decided to put him into the show. Even though Tamers' Ryo is more confident and easygoing as in the Games, the two characters were confirmed to be the same person.

Ryo also appears in Digimon Season 02 (in Ken Ichiyouji's dreams) and in second Digimon Movie - Our War Game.

First WonderSwan Game is the beginning of Ryo's fight against the evil Milleniummon (a fusion of Machinedramon and Kimeramon). The fight continues through the four Games, Milleniummon changes his form several times and in the end ZeedMilleniummon and Monodramon fuse together to Cyberdramon, Ryo's partner in Digimon Tamers.
In the games Ryo didn't really have a partner (every player could choose their own Digimon partner) and because that wouldn't work in Digimon Tamers, the producers decided to give him the popular Cyberdramon.

Ryo in Digimon Tamers first appears in Episode 28. He's known as the legendary Tamer and the Digimon King. He's very good with Digimon cards and he's the only one who can control the crazy Cyberdramon. Ryo left the real world for his Digimon, because Cyberdramon was searching for other strog Digimon opponents and meant a threat to the real world. They spent 10 month in the Digiworld and came back home with Takato and CO.

About the layout

Special thanks to slayra, who made the layout and to Day Dream Graphics, where I could download it!

I kept the colours from the original layout, I just changed the main image (well, it had to be Ryo! xD). I really liked the first Ryo-fanlisting's layout - which was brown - and I decided to do it brown, too. Ryo was taken from Tamers' 50th episode and was a bit modified in Photoshop CS2 and Open Canvas. I'm not really good with these things but I still like the result! :)
The black kanji means Akiyama, Ryo's surname. For those who don't know, aki means autumn and yama mountain.
The brown quote is from his Best Tamer theme song, Digital Survivor. :D
The 'join-Ryo' is from Digimon Tamers' second Movie - The Runaway Digimon Express.

I made the layout in Mozilla Firefox, that's why it looks better in it as it looks in IE!
