Episode 28

There are two versions of this episode! One is the dubbed version and the other one probably original (I translated it from german and I assume that it is original). You can read how it's word-to-word different under Comparison!

Rika, Kazu and Kenta were transported to a strange part of the Digiworld. First thing they notice is a clock that doesn't work. Rika wants to repair it but two Digimon are trying to stop her. She doesn't listen to them and fixes the clock. The ground starts shaking and soon an evil Megadramon appears. The Digimon is too strong. Even Kyuubimon can't beat him. Suddenly, another Ultimate Digimon appears - Cyberdramon. He kills the beast and impresses the Tamers. Everyone ask themselves who he is and then his Tamer shows up.

VERSION 01 - American version
Rika recognises the Tamer. It's Ryo Akiyama, her great TCG opponent. She can't believe he's here and she's not very happy about it because he apperantly doesn't remember her. Ryo stops the crazy Cyberdramon from attacking any longer. He then introduces himself. He grabs Rika's hand and shakes it. She doesn't say a word, that's why he teases her a little. She pulls her hand away and is being annoyed by Ryo.

So, first thing Ryo noticed was Rika. Ok, that's understandable, he's a guy and Rika is a cute girl. Rika is annoyed because Ryo doesn't remember her.

Rika finally introduces herself and when Ryo is telling them about how Digimon think that if they take data from a Digimon that has a Tamer, they'll be able to go to the real world. Rika's not really nice when she interrupts Ryo by telling they already knew that. xD

Rika is still annoyed. When Ryo helpes the two Digimon and is really understanding to them, he goes on Rika's nerves. She says to Kyuubimon: ''Uuh, can you believe this guy?? What's with this guy?! Stupid perfect haired dude, stupid perfect teeth, always knowing just the perfect thing to say, eventhough he's probably lying, he really bugs me!''

See how many times Rika uses the word 'perfect'? ;D Ok, I know she doesn't worship him for that but she does notice his perfect teeth! Hello? xD But his perfection goes on her nerves. Who cares, he's perfect!

Rika, Kenta, Kazu and Ryo are sitting around a fire. It's already night. Who knows what they did the whole day! xD But OK, we all know how fast the night comes in the Digiworld! However, Ryo is telling the story of his life with Cyberdramon. Kazu and Kenta are really impressed by it. Rika listens to the story and when Kazu and Kenta show how wowed they're by Ryo, she finally speaks.

''What's the big deal? So some stupid kid fell in to the DigiWorls and can't get out. Who cares. I bet he wants to go home to his mommy but he can't figure it out. Some hero ...'' she says and Kazu can't believe his ears. He defends Ryo and accuses Rika to hate Ryo because he beat her in a TCG tournament. That's the difference between the dubbed version and the german version. In german version they DID NOT play against each other, they didn't know each other personally.
Ryo finally remembers Rika and she's really sarcastic about it (''Well, gee, thanks, that means so much to me, oh great one!''). Why she's so annoyed by Ryo is probably really because of the TCG. She's very competitive and Ryuki haters very often use this characteristics of hers as a reason why Ryuki couldn't exist for long. But we all know that Rika changes a lot in the end of the show, so that shouldn't be a problem anymore! :p Ok, back to the story ... xD

Ryo doesn't want to argue about it and he changes the subject. He wants to help the three of them to find their friends. Kazu and Kenta are happy about it but Rika doesn't want to be anywhere near Ryo and she goes away with Kyuubimon.

Ryo (and Kenta xD) are consirned something could happen to her. Ryo doesn't know why he makes her so angry and he hopes she won't have any troubles.

VERSION 02 - German version
There are some differences between the two versions. More to read under Comparison, just a few words about it here ...
So, Rika knew Ryo because she playes TCG and Ryo was the legendary TCG player. She's not annoyed because Ryo doesn't remember her (they never personally met), she's angry because everybody think he's better - Kazu throws that in her face but she denies it. Ryo asks her if they ever played against each other and she says that they didn't (at least that's what she remembers). It's the same in the end, Rika thinks she doesn't need Ryo's help and goes away with Kyuubimon. Ryo is wondering why she doesn't stand him and he's concirned about her safety but he can't make her stay (even though he would want to ;D).

EVIDENCE ALL TOGETHER:
- Rika is annoyed because Ryo doesn't remember her. Rika usually doesn't care about that!
- First thing Ryo notice is Rika and they shake hands. He doesn't shake hands with anyone else!
- Rika admits Ryo looks good (perfect hair, teeth), even though she doesn't like that.
- Ryo is worried for Rika, because he knows how dangerous the DigiWorld is.
