Rika

Just like Takato said once in the early episodes - Rika can be sometimes nice but sometimes she is really annoying. She's a really moody person. In the early episodes she hinks Digimon are there for fighting not for making friends. She doesn't treat Renamon as a partner or a friend. She's just interested in her power and wants her to digivolve (it's so strange to write about Renamon as a she :o). Renamon never looses a single fight and when she defeats the opponent, she takes his data and becomes stronger and stronger. But she still doesn't digivolve. Rika is really annoyed by that and she's really mean to her Digimon. Although it doesn't seem Renamon would be sad or something because of that. She sees a point in Rika's thinking and she doesn't argue with her. Even though it doesn't look like they would love each other, they do. In 12th episode where Rika decides Renamon doesn't need her to survive, she still cares for her Digimon and when Harpymon tries to kill Renamon, Rika runs to them and stabs Harpymon with a wooden stick. Renamon then saves her digivolving to Kiyubimon and defeats Harpymon. That's the first time she doesn't take her opponent's data and when Rika asks her why, she says: 'Because I don't need this to become stronger, Rika. I have you.' And Rika smiles. <3

Otherwise Rika is a rebellion type of girl. She doesn't like to be in her mother's company and she hates to be dressed like a pretty nice girl. It must be really hard for her to have a mother who is working in fashion and wants her little daughter to follow her steps and takes her to the photo shootings, where she must be dressed in a pinky dresses (not even I would want to wear xD). The broken blue heart on her shirt was there to show us her character. If there was a nice and whole heart that would probably be too girly. We could say she's a tomboy in the show. But she shows us her girly site when she digivolves with Renamon to Sakuyamon and when she accepts her mother's gift - a new T-shirt, the same as she always wears, just the heart isn't broken anymore!

Rika is also well known as a Digimon Queen. She got the name after winning a championship (Digimon card play game). Kazu said once to Takato that she's so good that all guys from Highschool get afraid of her when she starts to attack (with Digimon cards, of course xD). But then when they meet Ryo in the Digiworld Kazu thinks Rika doesn't like Ryo because she never won a tournament while Ryo was still in the real world (she was 'only' second). It's not good to argue with Rika if she's in a bad mood and she did say back some evil things.

Just like at Takato we witness a great change at Rika too. From a cool often annoying and always bad mooded person to a friendly (but still very determined) girl. She even cries when Renamon has to go to the Digiworld alone.
