Name: Akiyama Ryou [Ryoo] (JAP)

As you can see Ryo's name is spell in different ways! I'm not sure if I wrote it    correctly ... :p I use the german spelling, if you want to know! ;D

Age: 11 (begining of the games)
14 (Digimon Tamers)

Eye Colour: Blue

                                           D-Power/D-Arc: mostly dark blue

First Appearance in Digimon Tamers: episode 28 (Blame it on Ryo); Rika, Kazu   and Kenta are being attacked by an evil Digimon and suddenly a dragon Digimon appears and saves them (Ryo's Digimon Cyberdramon) ... Ryo is then standing on a rock or something with wind in his hear, acting cool xD

Ryo

Ryo is so called 'legendary Tamer' who is also known as the 'Digimon King'. He was the best at the card tournaments, he always won. But then he suddenly disappeared. He had to go to the DigiWorld with his Digimon Cyberdramon, who needed a space because he was too wild (and big xD). Even a Tamer had a hard time to control the beast, that's why staying in the 'normal' world would mean a grave danger. Cyberdramon was constantly searching for his biggest opponent and Ryp had to stop him with a special rope that came out of his D-Power if he attacked a Digimon that wasn't supposed to be attacked. So he and Ryo went to the Digiworld and they stayed there for ten months. They both returned with the other Tamers and Ryo's father wasn't really happy when he returned. Who would blame him? xD

However, Ryo is a very mysterious character! He doesn't only appear in Digimon Tamers, he also appears in Digimon Adventure 02 (and we all think who the hell he is?!) and in the second Digimon Movie (Childrens Wargame), where he's hardla noticed at all. But I won't talk about this here! :p

Ryo has many fans because of his great Tamer and Card game skills. Two of them are also Kazu and Kenta. When they see Ryo for the first time in the Digiworld, they recognise him immediately, they are really happy to meet the legendary Tamer and they kinda worship him. The only one who remains cold is Rika because Ryo was her great opponent in the Card game (Rika is the Digimon Queen afterall! :p). She thinks he's annoying with his 'sweet smile'. But still they never played against each other and Ryo didn't know here when he first met her.

After the Tamers came back from the DigiWorld, Ryo went with his angry father and left his new friends. But he comes back to fight against D-Reaper in Cxberdramon's Mega form - Justimon. He does know how to come back! Even in the sixth Digimon Movie he came to fight in the end and, again, he knew how to make an appearance! :p However, he stayes with the other Tamers and helps them defeat the evil D-Reaper. He even plays with his life when he asks Rika to lend him her powers so that he could kill one of the Reapers. He wasn't successful though (that wasn't fair! xD or maybe ...). But he survives.
